gentle pressing and fermentation in autoclave with no added sulphites, for full enhancement of all the fruitiness that is then transferred into the bottle.
“Spàli”, or “Twine” in Friulian, the original way of sealing the naturally fermented Sparkling Prosecco. A manual gesture, using string binding, that is reminiscent of the industriousness of the olden-day farmers of north-eastern Italy. By resuming this type of closure, Forchir wanted to honour the generations that showed their faith in Prosecco, thereby effectively contributing to the success of a product that has become the premier selling wine in the world. With Spàli, Forchir aims to uphold the traditions of Prosecco and its land. With its pale-yellow colour and delicate perlage, Spàli is a fresh, fruity sparkling wine, with a flavour hinting of green apple.
